Ballet Classes:
Conducted by SDT ballet master Md Noor, these lessons are held to brush up on members' technical abilities. Divided into beginners and intermediate, the former is held on Thursday in the rehearsal room and the latter on Tuesday in the dance theatre. Both classed start at 7.30pm.
Note: in view of The Next Wave rehearsal schedule, ballet for the next 2 months will only be held on Thursday.
Technique Class:
Sunday's class incorporates jazz, ethnic, ballet and modern dance influences. The class consists of 3 parts: floor training, corner-to-corner technique and the teaching of a piece of choreography. Choreography varies from week to week or might be built upon
and ranges from pure jazz to fusion.

We offer an opportunity to see the world from a new perspective and a chance for you to experience exhilaration and ecstasy in expression via physical movement by seeing as we do, learning as we do, feeling as we do, training as we do.
In addition to having a memorable opportunity to attend technique class with us, treat yourself to a visual feast of 3 performances of different genres. Sosei, one of the 3 pieces, is the embellishment of the hideous, the search for elegance amidst gracelessness. Spun from an animalistic desire to be reborn, this pulsating second movement abounds with motion in the celebration of being born again.
